US dependencies mapped

It is becoming increasingly clear to more and more people that we can not afford to rely on American clouds for critical systems.

Bert Hubert has clearly listed these dependencies.

For senior managers who do not yet see this as a problem, that will become apparent soon enough. It just is a matter of time before the White House shows why this is such a problem.

As he writes: “With the threats about Greenland and the punitive import tariffs we are receiving, this overview might be useful. Which parts of our government and society are TOTALLY dependent on American clouds? And would a failure disrupt our society? It is a frightening list.”

This includes government, executive services, the judiciary, media, banks, transportation, healthcare, electricity, and telecommunications. In other words, if “someone” in the White House decides that the Netherlands should be without the cloud for a day as leverage in another “game,” they have that option…
