See this trick: stick your own QR code directly over the official one so people do not realize they are scanning the wrong code. When people quickly try to scan that code, you direct them to a site that, at first glance, looks exactly like what the customer expects. Meanwhile, you have the opportunity to steal credit card information or download attack software onto that phone.
Even if you’re in a hurry, check if you can trust that QR code.
